Safran est un groupe international de haute technologie, présent sur les marchés de l'aéronautique (propulsion, équipements et intérieurs), de la défense et de l'espace. Son principal objectif est de contribuer à un monde plus sûr et plus durable, où le transport aérien est plus respectueux de l'environnement, confortable et accessible. Depuis 1990, Safran est présent au Mexique et est devenu le premier employeur de l'industrie aérospatiale mexicaine qui, ces 15 dernières années, a connu chaque année une croissance à deux chiffres. Aujourd'hui, Safran au Mexique est fortement implanté avec 12 000 collaborateurs et 19 business units. Les nouveaux défis de l'industrie aérospatiale ouvrent de nouvelles opportunités dans un marché à la demande croissante : objectifs environnementaux (neutralité carbone d'ici 2050), besoins en supply chain et approvisionnement, ressources humaines, développements MRO, etc. Notre objectif à Aeromart Montréal 2023 est de rencontrer des fournisseurs potentiels et échanger sur ces opportunités.

The 'Airbus A220 Business Autonomy' project focused on achieving the separation of A220 from Bombardier's operations, primarily addressing the need of becoming an autonomous Company by January 2025 while increasing the A220 production rate and striving for the profitability of the A220 program. The project involved complex data, systems, and operational transitions. The goal was to give Airbus full autonomy in its operations while maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the A220 program. As one of a kind, the challenge was to migrate in 18 months 574 applications, around 2.5 Petabytes of data & almost 1 billion documents, concluding by a 8 Days cutover with over 500+ employees involved.

Le projet 'Airbus A220 Business Autonomy' visait à assurer la séparation de l'A220 des opérations de Bombardier, en répondant principalement à la nécessité de devenir une entreprise autonome d'ici janvier 2025, tout en augmentant le rythme de production de l'A220 et en travaillant à la rentabilité du programme.
Ce projet impliquait des transitions complexes en matière de données, de systèmes et d'opérations. L'objectif était de garantir à Airbus une autonomie totale dans ses opérations tout en préservant l'intégrité et l'efficacité du programme A220.
Projet unique en son genre, le défi consistait à migrer en 18 mois 574 applications, environ 2,5 pétaoctets de données et près de 1 milliard de documents, avec une transition finale de 8 jours, impliquant la coordination de plus de 500 employés.
